Apple fans can rejoice at the release of the new iPad 2, which will be available at 1,150 Best Buy stores beginning at 5:00pm on March 11. In anticipation of what is sure to be the popular release of the iPad 2, Best Buy has created a page on its website dedicated to consumers who plan to be one of the first to purchase. Best Buy stores will carry the new wifi enabled iPad 2 in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB models; the stores will carry both black and white iPad 2 versions and smart covers. Best Buy shoppers will also be able to purchase Geek Squad Black Tie Protection plans for both the iPad and iPad 2. The iPad 2 is included in Best Buy’s newly launched Buy Back program, which offers customers a credit of up to 50% for trading up products purchased at Best Buy for new models.
