Danville, VA–Danville is gearing up for its July 4thcelebration.
It kicks off bright and early at 8 am with the Danville Regional Medical Center Patriots Challenge 5K and 10K race at Anglers Park. Then activities then switch to the Crossing at the Dan beginning with the Fourth Annual Pie Baking Contest at 2 pm
The gates to the Carrington Pavilion will open at 6 pmThere will be entertainment, arts and crafts and a magic show, food and amusement rides.
The Danville Symphony Orchestra will perform and then the celebration ends with a fireworks display.
