History: The Clear Story Building was a fabric mill in the 1950s and used in an industrial fashion until roughly a decade ago. The space Granfalloon will occupy has been empty for about 10 years.<\/p>\n
Scope: Granfalloon a word invented by author Kurt Vonnegut to mean a group of people who have nothing in common but find themselves together will be open 7 am to midnight starting at the end of May. A myriad of dishes from all over the world will be served in the cafe, and the venue will open to music, comedy and other live entertainment.<\/p>\n
Granfalloon will employ 30 people, split nearly down the middle between full- and part-time.<\/p>\n
