In an effort to share the <\/span>China’s<\/span> 5000 years of ancient imperial <\/span>traditions<\/span>, Mall of America is <\/span>hosting<\/span> <\/span>a 9<\/span> day, interactive Chinese event.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Guests<\/span> can enjoy continuous live shows by <\/span>skilled<\/span> performance <\/span>groups<\/span> from mainland China <\/span>along with<\/span> Chinese <\/span>arts and crafts<\/span> all under one roof without having to <\/span>make<\/span> the long <\/span>flight<\/span>.<\/p>\n

To further the cultural experience, <\/span>every<\/span> court space in Mall of America <\/span>will be<\/span> transformed with <\/span>furnishings<\/span> to represent authentic <\/span>places<\/span> throughout China. The Rotunda, <\/span>for example<\/span>, will <\/span>transform into<\/span> the Forbidden City, a majestic imperial palace that <\/span>functions as<\/span> the ceremonial and political center of Chinese Emperors.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Visitors<\/span> can <\/span>start<\/span> their Chinese travels <\/span>inside the<\/span> Rotunda by picking up their event passport. A stamp <\/span>will be<\/span> given <\/span>after<\/span> visiting each <\/span>room<\/span>, and <\/span>when<\/span> the passport is full, guests are entered into <\/span>a raffle<\/span> for a trip to China valued at $10,000.<\/span><\/p>\n
