Among them, Tiger Airways and Jetstar Asia <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">took<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">third and fourth<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> places respectively, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">right behind<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> first-placed Singapore Airlines and second-placed SilkAir.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Other<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">companies<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> that made <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">the list were<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> Qantas Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, AirAsia, and Indonesia AirAsia, Emirates and Thai Airways International.<\/p>\n<p>Turkish Airlines was <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">named<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> Partner of the Year for its <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">efforts<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">to advertise<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> traffic <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">between<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> Singapore and Turkey.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Ever since<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> 2010, the airline has held joint <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">marketing and advertising<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> projects with the airport, and the <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">airline<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> now operates <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">daily<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> flights between Singapore and Istanbul, up from <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">five<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> times <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">per week<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> previously.<\/p>\n<p>Singapore Airlines Cargo was <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">awarded<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> the <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">leading<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> carrier in 2010 by Cargo Carriage, with Cathay Pacific Airways <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">arriving in<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> second, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">and then<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> FedEx Express <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">third<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Top Ten Performing Airlines Inexpensive flight companies were honored for their excellent performance last year, and their results were reflected in the annual Changi Airline Awards on Monday.
