Floridians <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">may<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> only opt-out of the Affordable Care Act&#8217;s individual mandate if the <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">United States<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> Supreme Court rules <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">against<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> the supremacy of the federal law.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of Florida Senate President Mike Haridopolos&#8217; initial acts during the 2011 legislative session was to sponsor and shepherd a proposed constitutional amendment aimed towards the federal health care law.
