The  differences were startling. He compared 3-D quality to looking out a  window and said that the increased film speed had effectively taken the  glass out of the window. Increasing projection speed will also help  reduce bluriness, a complaint being heard from 3-D moviegoers. Cameron  said the technique will sharpen 2-D films as well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAvatar,\u201d the highest-grossing film in history, set the standard for the  rush of new, 3-D films.
