The case will probably last at least two  months. Jury selection began on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The trial&#8217;s opening arguments have been set for May 9th, and it is  supposed to be over on July 1st. Murray is accused of giving the  anesthetic propofol to help him sleep in amounts that killed him. Murray  has maintained his innocence and plans to argue that Jackson gave  himself the drug.<\/p>\n<p>Jury selection, which started with a pool of 160 people, should be  narrowed to 100 by May 4th. This would leave enough time to narrow it to  12 by the trial&#8217;s start on May 9th.
