Or are both &#8216;packing for shipment&#8217; and &#8216;distribution&#8217; exempt?<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These aren&#8217;t idle questions for the five delivery drivers who sued Oakhurst, because <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/qz.com\/932004\/the-oxford-comma-a-maine-court-settled-the-grammar-debate-over-serial-commas-with-a-ruling-on-overtime-pay-for-dairy-truck-drivers\/\">as Quartz notes<\/a>, &#8220;the drivers do distribute, but do not pack, the perishable food.&#8221; In other words, one interpretation of the law&#8217;s list would make the drivers eligible for overtime pay; the other would mean they won&#8217;t get those extra dollars for extra time on the job.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<aside>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<aside>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<p>A three-judge appeals panel heard the case.
