In the  last four years, Delta has moved up the ranks from 10th, to 6th, to 3rd  and now finally to the top of the list. This list is based on a global  survey of airline executives, directors and analysts who rate the  companies based on nine criteria. Along with finishing 1st overall,  Delta ranked 1st in long-term investment, quality of management, global  competitiveness and social responsibility.<br \/>\nDelta has completed virtually all of their merger integration, has  launched significant investments in customer experience, strengthened  joint venture and alliance relationships and expanded international  reach.
