The  region is in a situation of civil war, and Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd  advised that Australians still in Libya are in extreme danger.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements have been made with the British government and others.  Australians making their way to Tripoli, will board charter planes and  vacate the country immediately.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade believe at least 35  Australians are still in Libya and some of them are quite possibly being  detained. There continue to be difficulties with communication efforts  to reach Australians inside Libya.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Rudd praised the courageous and noble efforts of Australia\u2019s diplomats in Libya.<\/p>\n<p>He urged the UN Security Council to take appropriate actions against the  dictatorship. He stressed that Gaddafi has no credibility as a leader  of Libya, and that his regime will be held accountable for their  murderous deeds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The time is at hand for any Australians remaining in Libya to flee.
