That store will be located in the IFC Mall,  and will be 15,000 square feet. A second, 20,000 square foot store will  be built in Causeway Bay, opening in late 2012.<\/p>\n<p>The Hong Kong stores will reportedly cost over $40 million, part of  Apple\u2019s plan to put 20 new stores in China in 2011. There are currently  four Apple stores in the country, two each in Beijing and Shanghai. Each  of those cities will get an additional store as part of an aggressive  overall expansion plan. Another store is rumored to be opening this year  in Taipei, Taiwan.<\/p>\n<p>The first Apple store opened in China in 2008.
