Godzilla vs. Kong Welcomes a Guest Director: Both 2014’s Godzilla and this year’s Kong: Skull Island were helmed by directors who’d previously been known for small indie films. Now their crossover, Godzilla vs. Kong, due in 2020, is going a similar route with Adam Wingard, who made last year’s Blair Witch but is best known for lower-scale films like The Guest. Charlie Heaton and Henry Zaga Join the X-Universe: Two more young rising stars, both of them Netflix series veterans, have joined the ensemble cast of New Mutants, the X-Men spin-off about a group of teenage heroes. Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things) was cast as Cannonball and Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why) will be Sunspot. Read more here.
