With the NFL Union decertified and the next NFL season in jeopardy, we are finally at the point where we don’t have to talk about an NFL labor strike in future tense. With the two sides still far apart in terms of money, an 18 game schedule, and minimum and maximum salary, an NFL fan has the right to be nervous about the upcoming season. With that said, the sides will get back to talking in a couple of weeks and you can believe that the closer we get to the season the more serious the talks will get. Right now it’s just a cat and mouse game; when the idea of losing real games becomes a reality, you’ll see more and more talks put into the schedule.
