Stop Using Internet Explorer 6

Microsoft Corporation has urged internet users to stop using Internet Explorer 6 which was released in August 27, 2001.

It is still very popular in some areas of the world, especially in China where 12% of the users still use this program. In the United States less than 1 percent of internet users still use Internet Explorer 6. A few users also remain in South Korea, and India.

The current version of Internet Explorer is 9 was released on March 14, 2011. Microsoft Corporation allows users to upgrade their systems for free to download and use. Many experts really love the new version.

Users are urged to discontinue use of Internet Explorer 6 because of the many ways in which the internet has changed in the last ten years.

They tout Internet Explorer 9 as being more stable, faster and the lightest on system resources of any program they have ever built.
