That’s according to a poll of 904 people carried out by icelolly.com, which revealed that 83% of people would opt for a relaxing, sunbathing holiday abroad to get away from the UK rat race.

When it comes to packing, we’re not only concerned about our wardrobe either! 64% would most like to put Cheryl Cole in their suitcase, with 34% preferring to squeeze in Peter Andre alongside the beach towel and shorts!

We don’t always remember to pack everything, though and the most common holiday item the nation forgets to pack is the travel adaptor (a staggering 68%).

It’s an even split as far as topping up the tans concerned, with 50% of us preferring the comfort of the hotel pool and the other 50% enjoying a good sunbathe on the beach.
