Gotham’s cowl-wearing superhero is “always watching,” but can he keep the world safe from bad guys? Find out in EW’s exclusive preview of DC Entertainment’s Batman: The Animated Series commercial. Starring Kevin Smith and animation legend Paul Dini, and produced in conjuction with Stoopid Buddy Stoodies (the minds behind Cartoon Network’s Emmy award winning Robot Chicken), the short was inspired by Dini and Bruce Timm’s popular 1990s animated series of the same name. The commercial, which will run in 90 and 15 second spots, showcases past waves of Batman: The Animated Series action figures and the 15 second spot is set to debut on July 10.
