The Chicago Bulls have once again found themselves a great team backed by prodigious talent. Chicago magazine will pay tribute to the past and take a gander at the future in an upcoming commemorative sports issue. It will examine the trailblazing 1990-1991 team as well as the players who could potentially put them back on the map. The issue will examine the aforementioned championship season through interviews with all-star players like Michael Jordan, Bill Cartwright, Scottie Pippen, John Paxon and Scottie Pippen.
The issue will also feature an introspective look at the Bull’s next potential star, Derrick Rose. This feature will be written by best selling author Jonathan Eig, who still begin a regular sports column for the magazine. The issue will also feature a section entitled “where are they now?” which will take a look at how some former Chicago athletes have decided to live their lives after retiring.
