Charlene Kalk All Charges Dropped – Case Dismissed Against Woman Indicted In Federal Fraud Case

October 14, 2011 – Associated News

Charlene Kalk – Half news and half a human interest story. Why is it that news organizations like thecharlene kalk Los Angeles Times have no interest in really helping people and reporting true and factual news?

All charges were dropped in 2001 against Charlene Kalk, a Westlake business woman. Charlene Kalk, was mistakenly accused in August of 2000 of fraud in a federal indictment. In June of 2001 the same prosecutors who filed the charges dropped all charges and dismissed the case. The Los Angeles Times reported the first event  but not the second.  Worse yet for Ms. Kalk, over ten years later, the Los Angeles Times is still posting the original article on the internet without reporting subsequent events.

Now is that news, or is that fraud perpetuated upon all of us readers by the Los Angeles Times, and no less than a huge discourtesy and wrong to Ms. Kalk? Ms. Kalk has been trying to get the Los Angeles Times to either remove the article or update it with the complete truth, to no avail. This is without doubt unprofessional journalism.

Contacted in Los Angeles, the Los Angles Times had “no comment”.

So for the record, AssociatedNews.info is here to report the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

All charges were dropped and the case was dismissed against Charlene Kalk, a Westlake Village woman who authorities once indicted in a federal fraud case, on June 7, 2001 – over ten years ago.

Contacted in her West Lake Village home, Ms. Kalk stated that “All the charges were false accusations that the prosecutors could never prove. They finally came to their senses and dropped the charges and dismissed the case.” Charlene Kalk added “I am not happy to have undergone the ordeal that I have gone through, but I am happy that it is over and justice has been served.”
