PORTSMOUTH SHORT FILM NIGHT: Film Unbound, in collaboration with 3S Artspace, will at 7:30 pm Sunday, June 28, present the summer 2015 edition of Portsmouth Short Film Night, an evening of short films and behind-the-scenes videos, at 3S Artspace, 319 Vaughan St., Portsmouth. This quarter#x2019;s Short Film Night selection remains true to its eclectic style, featuring drama, comedy, documentary, dance, music, and magical realism. UNDER- AND OTHER-BELLY TOURS: The Portsmouth Underbelly Tour has kicked off its 14 season along with its newest bastard child, The Other-Belly Tour. The adults-only tours are stand-up history at its best as costumed characters take you back into a history that the city would like to forget. The Portsmouth Underbelly is performed every Monday and Saturday at 6 pm on the corner of State and Pleasant streets (at The Rusty Hammer) in Portsmouth and the new The Other-belly Tour will be presented at 6 pm Sundays from the same corner. WALK WITH WASHINGTON: Walk the streets of Portsmouth in the footsteps of George Washington when he visited Portsmouth in 1789 on a special foot tour offered at 11 am the second and fourth Fridays of the month through Oct. 9 at 11 am Registration required at www.historicnewengland.org or by calling 436-3205. Tour begins at Gov. John Langdon House, 143 Pleasant St., Portsmouth.

SILENT FILM amp; MUSIC: Classics of the silent film era will return to the big screen at Ogunquit, Maine#x2019;s, Leavitt Theatre, which will host a season of vintage cinema with live music in the historic facility. The series gives area film fans a chance to see great movies from the pioneering days of cinema as they were intended to be shown #x2014; on the big screen, with an audience, and accompanied by live music. PORTSMOUTH HARBOR LIGHTHOUSE OPEN HOUSE: Climb the 44 steps of the winding staircase and the ladder all the way up to the Lantern Room and enjoy the vista from the Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse in New Castle while docents explain the lighthouses intriguing history during an open house from 1 to 5 pm Sundays through mid-October. No reservations are needed; tours are on a first-come, first-served basis. Children must be 42 inches tall to climb to the top, and adults are not permitted to carry children up the stairs. CONCERTS ON THE HILL: Mezzo-soprano Lauren Kaiser, cellist Dorothy Braker, and pianist Paul Dykstra will perform #x201c;Free Radicals: Artists Can Be Human Too,#x201d; featuring Aaron Copland#x2019;s song cycle of poetry by Emily Dickinson and pieces by Brahms, Rachmaninoff, and Chopin on Sunday, June 28. The performance will take place at 4 pm in St John#x2019;s Episcopal Church, 100 Chapel St., Portsmouth. There is a suggested at-the-door donation of $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Local pop/singer-songwriter Lizzy Marella, a graduate of Heronfield Academy in Hampton Falls, will be performing from 4:30 to 6:30 pm Sunday, July 12 at The Stone Church, 5 Granite St., Newmarket. It#x2019;s a free, all-ages show. 100% of the proceeds will go to support the music programs at Heronfield Academy and Portsmouth High School. Marella is currently studying song-writing and music at Interlochen Arts Academy.

LOOK #x2026; THERE#x2019;S A BOAT: ACT ONE presents the first staged readings of a new play by Kittery writer Lester Dubow, introducing 11 very colorful characters who become family by sharing their stories and the wisdom gained from their life experience. PETER PAN: Prescott Park Arts Festival presents a musical rendition of Peter Pan as this summers outdoor theatre production.
