JACKSON, MI– Martina McBride, Smash Mouth and Kansas highlight Jackson Colleges Potter Centers 2015-16 entertainment season.

The seasons consists of 14 acts, which includes concerts, comedy acts, family entertainment and exhilarating acrobatic performances.

All shows are at the Potter Center, 2111 Emmons Road.

Martina McBride, 7 pm Sept. 19

Martina McBride has garnered 11 Grammy nominations, countless awards and six no. 1 hits overt the course of her legendary country music career.

McBride has been named theCountry Music Associations Female Vocalist of the Year a record-tyingfour times.

She will perform 7 pm Saturday, Sept. 19.

Tickets range from $50 to $60.

Smash Mouth, 7 pm Oct. 10

Their smash-hits Walkin on the Sun and All Star took over the 90s and still find themselves occupying airwaves.

Now, Smash Mouth, who has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, will come to the Potter Center 7 pm Saturday, Oct. 10.

Tickets start at $35.

The Lettermen, 7 pm Oct. 24

For close to six decades, The Lettermen have been selling out venues and topping the charts.

The pop trio — who is still going strong — will perform 7 pm Saturday, Oct. 24 at the Potter Center.

Tickets range from $22 to $28.

Matthew West and Francesca Battistelli, 7 pm Nov. 1

Matthew West has four Grammy nominations and is a former Christian Music Songwriter/Artist of the year winner. Francesca Battistelli, who also has a Grammy nomination, is a young up-and-coming Christian pop artist.

The two will take the stage 7 pm Sunday, Nov. 1

Tickets range from $32 to $45.

Clifford The Big Red Dog Live, 2 and 5:30 pm Nov. 8

Children across the world have read or watched Clifford The Big Red Dog and his friends, but now the famous character will be presented in musical form.

Tickets cost $20 for adults and $15 for children 12 years and younger. The musical has two showings; 2 and 5:30 pm Sunday, Nov. 8.

Youve Got a Friend: James Taylor and Carole King Tribute, 7 pm Nov. 21

Two friends and well-versed singer-songwriters will pay tribute to James Taylor and Carole King Saturday, Nov. 21.

Kirsti Manna, who has worked with Blake Shelton, and Jonathan Birchfield will take attendees back in time as they tackle soulful and mellow classics from Taylor and King.

Tickets range from $21 to $28.

Sisters Christmas Catechism: The Mystery of Magis Gold, 7 pm Dec. 5

Think of this show as CSI: Bethlehem, as the Sister from the classic catechism tales takes on a mystery.

The main character puts her own spin on the story of the nativity Saturday, Dec. 5.

Tickets start at $20.

Swingn the Holidays: The Jive Aces and The Satin Dollz, 3 pm Dec. 13

The Jive Aces are regarded as one of the United Kingdoms top swing bands, and the London-based group will head a night of swing 3 pm Sunday, Dec. 13.

The Satin Dollz, of Los Angeles, will also appear on the bill to bring in the holidays with some swing.

Tickets start at $21 and top off at $30.

Moscow Festival Ballet: The Sleeping Beauty, 8 pm Jan. 9, 2016

The string of International flair will continue at the Potter Center with the Moscow Festival Ballets rendition of The Sleeping Beauty.

This performance — featuring the classic good vs. evil tale — is set to a score from Pyotr Iltich Tchaikovsky.

This show is scheduled for 8 pm Saturday, Jan. 9. Tickets range from $15 to $28.

Hormonal Imbalance, 7:30 pm Jan. 22

Part comedy, part musical; join Hormonal Imbalance for an Estrogen-fueled night full of babes, boys andBotox.

These four accomplishedmusicianand comedian friends put on a night ofraucous social commentary and music. Student tickets cost $20. Reserved seating costs $25.

Steven Curtis Chapman, 7 pm Feb. 6

Steven Curtis Chapman, a five-time Grammy winner who holds 45 no. 1 radio hits, will perform his classic music 7 pm Saturday, Feb. 6.

Chapman will play some of his biggest hits from the last 30 years including Live Out Loud, I Will Be Here and Cinderella.

Tickets range from $20 to $45.

Golden Dragon Acrobats, 4 pm Feb. 21

Twenty-five centuries ofChinese acrobatics are coming to Jackson 3 pm Sunday, Feb. 21.

The group travels throughout the world performing their breath-taking and culturally thick acrobatics.

Tickets range from $15 to $28.

The Pink Floyd Experience, 7 pm March 20

The Pink Floyd Experience will put on a psychedelic light show complete with full quadraphonic sound when they dazzle the crowd at the Potter Center.

PFX will take on some of the influence groups most popularhits 7 pm Sunday, March 20.

Tickets for this all-senses show start at $28.

Kansas, 7 pm April 15

Their music is synonymous with classic rock and they have one of the most recognizable sounds of all time.

Fans of the movie Old School will recognize Kansas as they holler outYoure my boy, Blue while those who grew up in the groups heyday will carry on to some of the groups iconic tracks.

Kansas willend the 2015-16 entertainment season at Jackson College in grand fashion.

Dust in the Wind and Carry on my Wayward Son are two of the most played songs of all-time, and theyll be sure to play these classic tracks during their stop in Jackson.
