Mayor Butch Zaragoza said the city is considering establishing an entertainment district in the area around the Rocky Ridge Shopping Center.
In May, the state passed a bill that would allow Vestavia Hills and Hoover to establish up to three entertainment districts.
The city is currently working on planning borders and boundaries and hopes to establish an ordinance soon.
