Canon Australia has now enhanced its EF telephoto zoom lens range through the addition of the EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II – a versatile, all-round lens perfect for various photographic scenarios from action to portrait photography.

Small and light-weight, the new improved EF-S 55-250mm features Canon’s superior built-in Image Stabilizer (IS) that makes it simple to obtain sharp, blur-free images even in low light environments. The IS technology offers the equal effect of a shutter speed approximately four stops faster, and cuts down camera shake to ensure clear and crisp photos – effortlessly.

Like its predecessor, the Series II Model has a wide zoom range which makes it ideal for getting close to the action from a distance, and its automatic panning sensors provides terrific mobility for capturing moving subjects easily.

The EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II will be sold on its own, while the Series I Model will continue to be offered in kits only.
