Bulls/Heat

Dwyane Wade recovered from his migraine in time to dominate the Sixers defense with 32 points and 10 rebounds. “I don’t have to worry about bright lights,” Wade said. LeBron James quietly added a double-double. The Heat took a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

In Philadelphia, the 76ers intended to play off of their home crowd’s energy. Philly was down 2-0 to the Chicago Bulls, mostly due to the dynamic play of guard Derrick Rose. The PA used tunes like the “Rocky” theme to amp the fans and players. But when the game clock ran out, the Sixers had lost again, 88-84. Rose shook off a subpar performance, dropping in a layup as time expired.

Chicago and Miami are poised to reach the second round. Rose and James carry high expectations this postseason. As they move toward a possible head-to-head in the conference final, NBA fans are finding the playoffs to be must-see TV.
