While President Obama’s numbers continue on the downhill slide, Hillary Clinton’s numbers continue to rise with 66% of the American public approving of the job she is doing according to a recent Gallup poll. The Gallup poll was conducted from March 25 to March 27, 2011, while the United States was enforcing the no-fly zone over Libya. 59% of men said they approved of the job that Clinton was doing while 74% of women approved of the job she was doing. In the poll, the group approving of Clinton’s job the most was women over the age of 50. Her lowest approval rating came from men over the age of 50.
Meanwhile, only 54% of those answering the Gallup poll approved of the job that Obama was doing. This difference has caused some people to ask Clinton to consider running for President again in 2012, believing that Obama can not be elected again.
