Out of nearly six million submitted brackets on ESPN.com, only two people had a Final Four of Kentucky vs. UCONN and Butler vs. Virginia Commonwealth. While most people are focusing on the fact that nearly 5.9 million people got it wrong, we should instead be focusing on the fact that ANYBODY was able to pick all four Final Four teams. Okay, maybe Kentucky and UCONN were on some people’s brackets (they are established programs), but Butler? Yeah, they almost won last year, but even if your a Butler fan, an Elite 8 berth is about as far as you would go. With that said, you have to say that the only people who had VCU in their Final Four were people who either go to the school or graduated from there. In fact, I’m sure there were people who had Texas San Antonio in the Final Four as well. But having both VCU and Butler as the last team’s standing? That’s amazing.
