The journey to China is roughly 8000 miles from the U.S. In an effort to share the China’s 5000 years of ancient imperial traditions, Mall of America is hosting a 9 day, interactive Chinese event.

Guests can enjoy continuous live shows by skilled performance groups from mainland China along with Chinese arts and crafts all under one roof without having to make the long flight.

To further the cultural experience, every court space in Mall of America will be transformed with furnishings to represent authentic places throughout China. The Rotunda, for example, will transform into the Forbidden City, a majestic imperial palace that functions as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese Emperors.

Visitors can start their Chinese travels inside the Rotunda by picking up their event passport. A stamp will be given after visiting each room, and when the passport is full, guests are entered into a raffle for a trip to China valued at $10,000.
